The tickets for pre season testing are like 5 bahraini dinars for the three days if you don't have a 3 day ticket for the grand prix . The wife and I are thinking about going on the Friday and hopefully we will also attend the grand prix.

As a Bahraini let me tell you you're missing out my friend. 1 The bahrain GP is the cheapest on the calendar to attend. 2 The support events/concerts are fire. 3 The event is Incredibly well organised. 4 Bahrain is a very safe country. 5 Bahrain is a small country with a rich history which means you can pretty much see everything you need in one day. I can go on and on but I think 5 points should be enough

Thanks! I've been on here for a while I just don't comment because I usually don't have anything useful to add to the conversation but in this instance atleast I can comment from my own experience . I used to have a whole album with signed pictures of all the drivers in the FIA middle east rally championship and the first picture I got signed was from Ben Sulayem. One time in I think 2001 I'm not sure I modified a diecast ford focus into his rally car (he had a focus wrc) it was my first attempt at doing something like that and boy you could tell it lol. When I showed it to him he grabbed it and showed it to to the other drivers and then took a pen and autographed it. I wish I still had it but moving house a few times alot of things got lost.

Have any of you even met the man? I have both as a fan and as someone on a competing team (I was a pit crew mechanic for a small team called rev zone racing in Bahrain back in the early 2000s) you will not find a more supportive individual in this sport.this man breathes motorsport. I remember we had a female rally driver from Bahrain named Yasmine Al-hilly and he was one of her biggest supporters. I've never heard of or seen him being a bully to anyone even when he was in focus mode during a rally.
